Party Fun

Some of the family (the ones that live near by), came over to my place to celebrate my birthday over the weekend. We had fun; taking pictures, visiting, eating, and as is usually the custom in our household, being very loud. 

I got some wonderful gifts, although I will admit though that a favorite was a wine decanter that my sweet parents got for me.

Fall has definitely arrived and with it all the reasons to love this beautiful season; apple picking, cider making (and drinking), sweater and boot wearing, jack o lanterns, the beautiful changing colors of the leaves, the cool windy days and evenings, these are only a few of the many reasons why this season is definitely my favorite.

Autumn

When the trees their summer splendor

Change to raiment red and gold,

When the summer moon turns mellow,

And the nights are getting cold;

When the squirrels hide their acorns,

And the woodchucks disappear;

Then we know that it is autumn,
